Hey hey there cuties! We are so excited that it new arrivals week over at DaySpring! And even MORE excited to finally be able to share more about out new bile journaling organizational tote!! It is so stinkin cute!! WE get a lot of questions about where to start, and what I typically bring with me when I am bible journaling, going to a class, or even to church – what is nice to have on hand! So I wanted to share a bit about that today! :)
Before we jump in, I wanted to give you this coupon right off the top so that if you pick up anything along the way you are able to take full advantage of that little treat!
I wanted to share our new bible journaling tote and pouch with you to start off..
I love that DaySpring wanted to design a bag that was perfect for those of us that (ahem cough cough) like a couple items with us and also a pouch for those of us that just need to throw a couple things in a bag to run out the door! Or you know, like me .. both! :) I love that the bag is large enough to hold my bible (even when it gets nice and chunky! ) along with my favorite supplies!!
Of course the #1 thing in my bag is my bible, journal, praise book etc! All wonderful places to illustrate my faith! If you are not comfortable with bible journaling but love the idea of documenting your faith in a creative way check out the Praise Book or Travel Journals! If you are all in for the bible journaling, DaySpring has a great assortment of bibles from NIV journaling bible to the ESV interleaved bible and a bunch of other amazing options! Don’t forget to use that 25FORYOU code to save!!
When I am traveling with my bible journaling supplies I try to always start off with my basic tools that I know I will be reaching for: bible mat, pens, adhesive, ink, roller date stamp, stamp block and my favorite pens! These are the items that are sometimes easy to forget but you are always sad when you go to get them and realize they were left behind. So I try to have these on hand! Now some of you maybe have a couple of these items and not need them all, DaySpring does offer all these items individually as well!
Okay once you are beyond the basic supplies it really is personal preference from there! What do you see yourself using? I wanted to share a couple of my faves from the latest release! First off I am LOVING this Book-It roller stamp! It is different from our date stamp in that instead of documenting the date you can easily (and super adorably) put your chapter and verse reference! YES!!!!!! This is so amazing and wonderful not only for bible journaling but for all the other places you are illustrating your faith! I seriously am LOVING this unique tool!
Mini Hexies, if we are being honest,… I don’t know what my obsession is with these cuties but I JUST LOVE them! They are the perfect finishing touch to a page and I just adore them in little clusters of 3! SO fun!
We have SO MANY amazing new washi’s so you should certainly go check them out, tell us your faves! But one of my faves is this black and white washi, I am not sure what my deal is with black and white washi in general but it just does it for me! It also comes in a fun colorful criss cross that you are sure to love!
If I had to pick ONE item to start bible off with in bible journaling it might just be the paper pieces! I LOVE them! But my favorite is that they each have a verse reference on the back which easily answers the question ” where do I get started in bible journaling ? ” These speech bubbles are some of my favorite, I love how they easily illustrate how God is speaking to us and what we are hearing from our time in the word!
Well friends, those are a couple of my favorite things to bring with me for bible journaling! We have a huge assortment of supplies so be sure to check them out, along with all the amazing new releases!! Don’t forget to use your coupon – 25FORYOU for 25% off + Free Shipping!! Good through March 3rd.
Thank you for joining me today and have fun illustrating your faith!
