Supply Organization To Go
Tiffany Zajas | Supply Organization To Go
What to do when you don’t have a craft room
Bible Journaling has become a part of my daily routine, and it has been such a joy! The only thing that was not so joyful about it was trying to keep my supplies organized. As of right now, I do not have a craft room or even an art desk to work from so I was constantly digging into my closet and pulling out my various supplies. I had some supplies in a random tote bag and other items thrown into a box. This is what that looked like…
Yeah, not organized at all. I had to find a solution! I knew that I wanted something that was big enough to contain the supplies that I used on a daily basis while also being portable enough for me to grab and bring to wherever I wanted to work from (usually the couch.) I looked into different art bins and for the size I was wanting, most of them were a little more than what I wanted to spend. So I decided to think outside of the craft department and ended up getting a tool box!
As soon as it arrived, I was SO excited to go ahead and organize all of my supplies!
The inside tray is perfect to hold many of my pencils, erasers, pens, and markers.
I also have this little pencil pouch that is what I grab the most. It contains my favorite pencil, the pens I use most often, an eraser, corrective tape, a white gel pen, and a Faber-Castell PITT Artist Pen in Cadmium Yellow (the color I normally use to highlight verses as I’m reading through my Bible.) I love having this pouch handy to grab quickly from my box and know that it has all of my most-used and loved items inside. (This pouch is from H&M, but sadly I can’t find it online in order to share with you.)
Underneath the tray there is space deep enough to hold my Faber-Castell PITT Artist Pen set, paints, brushes, pastels, ruler, sketchbooks, and more! There is even space to put my Bible in there if I want to bring it with me somewhere.
I’ve been using this storage solution for the past couple of weeks, and it has been so wonderful! Gone are the days of me rummaging through unorganized boxes and bags to find what I’m looking for. Yay!
I hope this helps you come up with creative solutions to organize your supplies in a way that makes Bible journaling even more convenient and enjoyable!

I love this idea! I also don’t have a craft room, but a cupboard in the dining room that also holds my sewing supplies. I put some of my most-used items in a makeup caddy type thing (like a drawer organizer?) and a zipper pouch. Its fun to see how others organize!
Hey Tiffany!

Very creative idea Tiffany! This would be a wonderful option when traveling too.
Would like to know what corrective tape you use? All I know is “white” out and my journaling is vanilla color.
Thank you for sharing this awesome idea
Thanks for sharing …good ideal and nice to know everything is in one place and contain.
I love this! What is funny is that I had dabbled in pottery a while (long while) ago and have a tool box which I used for all my knives and wires and sponges, etc. I can just dump those in a tupperware and repurpose the tool box for my Bible Journaling now! Thanks for this post.
