One of the challenges in my Bible Study Group the last few weeks has been to read Romans Chapter 8 everyday. There are loads of amazing things in this chapter!! So many wonderful revelations from Paul to reassure us of our place as children of God. I wanted to journal ALLTHETHINGS. It is seriously so hard to pick a favorite part of this chapter. I already had this page journaled in my double column Bible along with having about half of the verses underlined and marked. So I decided to jump into my single column that is newer. I bought it specifically because so many pages are full in my older journaling Bible so I need more room, I suppose…anyhow, back to Romans 8. . . here is the page in my older, double column Bible:
I love it when Paul reveals there is no condemnation for those in Christ. We are set free! (v. 1-2). And when he says we are children of God. Heirs to the Kingdom along with Christ! (v. 16-17). Oh!! Oh!!! and I LOVE it when he says that the Spirit (v. 26-28) AND Jesus himself (v. 34) are interceding for us. Can you feel the love??
However, I decided to journal about the unwavering love of God the Father for his children (that’s US!!).
Romans 8: 37-39 …in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Nothing. Nothing. NOTHING. Can come between us and the love that God has for us. I would like to pass on the challenge from our Bible study. I invite you to read Romans 8 everyday for a week or even two weeks. You can feel absolutely secure in our Heavenly Father!
Love this! I am having a great time journaling in Romans 8. You are right that it is just SO full of uplifting and wonderful promises.
Love!
This is beautiful I love it!
