I have been working through The Strength Within Her devotional and I hope you all have a chance to check it out. Today I am on day 10 and enjoying my walk through James chapter 1. In the devotional, Amy points out that one of the greatest tools in our toolbox is remembering that we have the ability to control our own attitude.
James Chapter 1 talks about how we will have trials. It’s an imperfect world, friends. Trials are all around. But if we can trust Jesus – completely trust Him. And keep our hearts and attitudes in check these trials will bear fruit and people will be won for Jesus.
Here is the prayer I journaled on the page: “Lord, thank you for the trials that build your kingdom. Help me to be a do-er for you.” Let’s keep those chins up! We are here to work for God and that is the greatest adventure!
