I’ve really tried to just focus on what God has been putting on my heart each day and I go from there. At first I was afraid where a few of the prompts would take me, but after I prayed about them there was a bigger picture that I began to see, God already knows each corner of my life, even the ones full of disappointment, failures and hurt. That reminded me of just how grateful for Him I truly am.
Today for some reason my focus went right to the “Peace” page, Peace! I pulled out my bible and notebook of some notes I had taken recently on God being our hiding place. Psalm 32:7 says
“You are a hiding place for me; you preserve me from trouble; you surround me with shouts of deliverance.” Right there in plain black and white it’s there, God does not promise that our days will be trouble free, but he does promise that He will be there waiting for us to run to Him when our storms arise. I am so grateful for His peace, I have felt it wash over me in some of the hardest times of my life. He has always been there and will always be my prince of peace.
