Unfinished

You know those unfinished projects, the half started art journal pages, the creative endeavors we ambitiously begin and never finish? The list of “works in progress” we start, leave sit for months, pick up again, never seem to finish, or be content with? Same here. And my heart feels a little like that too sometimes. Like an endless list of things to work on, the places that need “fixed”, the habits and thoughts I can’t quite seem to get right. I give up myself and others too. But you know who never gives up on us? Who always sees the beauty in the process of our souls. God, our ABBA Father. I am thankful that His character is unlike mine, never ceasing in His steadfast love and goodness to not leave us where we are! Whatever your “works in progress” might be, God is faithful to finish what He has begun! Use these cutie girls to remind you that you’re not alone in your walk toward becoming more like Jesus. Let the scribbles and messy painty patterns remind you that there’s beauty in the midst of the journey.
