Summer in the Psalms Vol. 2 Devotional (digital)

Hello! I am thrilled to journey through the Psalms with you this summer and discover what God has for us! I greatly respect the Psalms’ authors due to their authenticity, honesty, and total reliance on God through all circumstances. And let me tell you, there are a lot of circumstances happening in the Psalms, and not much is held back. If I am being honest, this has been an area that God is currently growing me in, and it’s been a journey! I feel genuinely comfortable sharing my messy feelings and emotions with the people I’m surrounded by: my family, friends, church community, and sometimes a person I just met in the moment. Still, I’ve often felt resistance when bringing all that to God. But why is this? I began examining my heart and realized I hadn’t entirely accepted the invitation to enter into a life-long journey of trust and comfort with Jesus, not only with every area of my life but also with all by being – every single part of me. God is love. He truly cares about us deeply and desires us to bring anything and everything to Him that prevents us from experiencing life in and through Him. So, bring what you have, friend. Right where you are. Set it before the Lord, and allow Him to renew you. All of you!
