The Bible. It is known as the Word of God, Scripture, the Good Book. I fully believe that God inspired the writers of this amazing book. But you know what? It’s written by people, about people and for people. Just like you and me. And just like each of us is unique, the way we interact with the Bible is different. The stories that affect us, the characters that inspire us, the words that we ponder, the prayers we pray and the way God reveals Himself differs from person to person. Now, I am not a seminary graduate, nor do I preach from a pulpit (probably just like you!), but I do know that God meets me within these pages.
These past few months have been extremely busy, filled with quite a bit of travel, late nights, early mornings, loud and crowded environments, and not a lot of time for creative input. Settling into Psalm 23 was like a hug, as I was reminded of so many truths. Here are some thoughts and illustrations (as well as some feathers & flowers!) from my month in this wonderful chapter.
