Sketchbook Scriptures: Genesis 1-3

The Bible. It is known as the Word of God, Scripture, the Good Book. I fully believe that God inspired the writers of this amazing book. But you know what? It’s written by people, about people and for people. Just like you and me. And just like each of us is unique, the way we interact with the Bible is different. The stories that affect us, the characters that inspire us, the words that we ponder, the prayers we pray and the way God reveals Himself differs from person to person. Now, I am not a seminary graduate, nor do I preach from a pulpit (probably just like you!), but I do know that God meets me within these pages. And I’d like to share my musings and thoughts from these meetings with you. My brain thinks in both pictures and words, so I’m going to fill up a sketchbook and share the pages. We can grow in the Lord together! Here are some thoughts on Genesis 1-3. Shalom.
