Remember the Wonders (digital)

hello friend! When Shanna asked me to write this January devotional as a follow-up to the beautiful testimonies she had us writing last year, the phrase “remember the wonders” kept popping up in my heart. It was a background theme last year, and I felt God nudging me to dig deeper into what He has to say about His wonders. After digging into the scriptures, I found a beautiful thread of God telling us to not only remember His wonders, but also to see the ones right in front of our face in the current season, and to believe in the wonders to come. So I have divided this devotional into three sections: last season, this season, and next season. My prayer is that at the end of the month, when you have answered all of the questions, a beautiful testimony will emerge. REMEMBER THE WONDERS // last season Throughout the Bible, God is constantly urging His people to REMEMBER Remember the miracles, remember the provisions, remember where you came from, and remember the wonders He has done (Psalm 105:1-5). SEE THE WONDERS // this season Deuteronomy 10:21 talks about God’s great and awesome wonders that we have seen with our own eyes. How often do we stop long enough to even see His wonders that are right in front of us? BELIEVE THE WONDERS // next season Do you believe that God has wonderful things planned for you? In Psalm 40:1-5 the Bible says that He does. The purpose of this last section is to remind us all to have faith in what God has planned for us this year. – Jill
