Proverbs 31 Devotional (digital)

One of the greatest opportunities and challenges of being a woman is the various roles we play throughout the seasons of life. When I first read Proverbs 31, I was in awe of how God used and gifted the Proverbs 31 woman. The Proverbs 31 woman shows us what it means to have favor with family, influence in society, and the importance of using the gifts God gives each of us. Learning to ground our identity in who God says we are, friendships, marriage, parenting, work, and community involvement requires different skills, use of time, and consistent growth in our relationship with God. The fear of the Lord is the beginning and continual posture that enables us to pursue our opportunities from God’s strength, not our own. Through this study, you will find the stability that comes from rooting your identity in who God says you are, and clarity in how to pursue the opportunities in your life. And the unchanging principle of what it means to live in the fear of God. My prayer is that you will find encouragement and wisdom for the journey that God has for you as you study through Proverbs 31. – Shawna Cardona
