“The beauty of autumn is very inspiring for me. The explosions of colored leaves on the trees, the overabundance of my dahlias, the way the air feels and smells so clean, and the contrast between the sky and the trees, it all just makes me want to be outside. We definitely get our share of rain here in the PNW, but all that grey just makes the sunny days all the more glorious. As I was walking with my kids and puppy the other day, I found myself looking at the ombre trees and the overflowing flower gardens, and humming the Doxology that I grew up singing at church. It just seemed like the most fitting song to sing when beholding all those colors. It seemed like that was the song the trees were singing as they put forth a final show for the year. This riot of color and beauty is one of the ways the Lord romances my heart and draws me closer to Him. Hallelujah. Oh Praise Him.” -Brianna Showalter
