Hope is Here Devotional (digital)

In your life, you will, not you might, have trials and storms that come and shake you, friend. You actually have probably already weathered a few, or maybe you’re even going through some right now as you read the words upon this page. I know life can be hard, and sometimes devastating. Those storms come and they make you feel out of control, heartbroken, lost, hopeless, scared, and alone, but the good news is that the God of miracles is there in the midst of it all. He will intervene and carry you through.

That’s what this devotional is all about: when God shows up and turns everything around. It’s about the power of two words: “but God” and how they are woven all throughout the Bible to show us who has the final say in it all. Those two words point to the hope that continues to shine bright within the deepest, darkest parts of our lives, even when we think there is no hope left. I love it when I come across those two words because it means God is about to do something great; something only He can do. Good news always follows, “but God.”

I’m so thankful and excited to spend the next month with you, walking through some of these unforgetable God moments in the Bible and reflecting on the “but God” moments that we’ve experienced in our own lives.
