Garden of Gratitude

Dry seasons often produce hard soil for our faith to grow. They make the practice of lifting our heads heavenward feel weighted and can turn praise to ashes in our mouths.  But it’s during such seasons that setting a pattern of gratitude in our minds, hearts and upon our lips becomes our greatest weapon. A thankful heart during times of difficulty has the potential to produce a bounty of faithfulness in our walk. While we may not be able to control life’s circumstances, we can certainly take care to turn over every weed the enemy places in our paths, and make room for gratitude to take up root and residence inside us.
