Experiencing God: Remember

As we remember to give thanks, we’re reminded that God never changes and He has never left us, no matter the circumstance. The seeds remind us of His faithfulness, we can rest assured that what God did in the past, He can surely do again. How we remember our past transforms our present and directs our future. Remembering God’s goodness moves us to respond to our world in hope and love rather than fear.

Follow the seeds of remembrance as a discipline; it helps us disconnect from worry and fear by connecting us to the grace and hope we have in God. God isn’t distant or uncaring; He’s a personal redeemer who calms, orders, and transforms our inner world. God has moved throughout all of history, and He’s moved throughout your story as well. Both in the ancient world and in our current daily lives, over and over again we see God creating ways for us to remember His works. He is constantly scattering seeds. He wants us to live in remembrance.
