Experiencing God: Abide

To so many people, God is just an ephemeral being, with no substance here on earth. But that’s not how God intended it. God designed us to be in relationship with Him, to experience life here on earth together. What if we flipped the script, and instead of Yahweh being an afterthought, we focus on relationship with Him first? In John 14-16, one of the things Jesus talks about is abiding. Abide, literally, means to ‘stay’ or ‘remain.’ How might we experience the involvement of God in our lives if we focus on abiding, or remaining, in Him?
