Hi Friend. Isn’t this a greeting we all use and love?

Why is friendship so vital for us all? C.S. Lewis once said “friends are side by side, absorbed in a common interest. For us this common interest should be Jesus. Ever since the beginning of time, we see the importance of relationships and community. We were never meant to be alone, rather to live in relationship and friendship with one another. A friendship that is Christ centered is vital for the Kingdom. Think of the disciples, they were just a set of friends who changed the world.

Over the course of the next few weeks, spend some time with us diving into the characteristics of Jesus, our perfect friend, while mirroring His image in the friendships we pursue. We are so excited for what this month holds and what Jesus will reveal to us about the friends in our lives.

Open our eyes Lord for all the things you reveal to us and open our hearts to be receptive to you.
