Friends know that I am an ‘autumn forever’ girl, although spring comes in a close second in my book! The pockets of sunshine, cleansing rain, cloud watching, barefoot walking…so many things to love about this current season and all of the beautiful things that God created for us to witness and experience in it. I don’t know what the weather is like where you are right now…but there have been some incredibly heavy rains here this season-literally, and figuratively speaking.
The rain is beautiful, needed, and necessary- but sometimes it is cold, relentless, miserable, and seems
like the storm may never let up. And yet, we hold this hope of a brighter and more sunny tomorrow. I pray you are holding tight to the hope and promises of God, friend.Our pastor posed a question on Sunday that really got me. He asked: “are you waiting for your situation to change before you stop grieving?” He then went on to remind us that faith isn’t always getting what you want; it is knowing that God is doing what is right, right now.
What are you carrying around, friend?What if you surrendered that to God?
JOY is a spiritual weapon to be used not after the storm has passed, but AMIDST the storm. Here’s to living an inspired, joy-filled life!
