Hi sweets! This post came to me in a dream! …OK not really. I’m not Joseph! (a little Bible humor for you, there!) But it WAS just a random thought I came up with the other day. I was thinking of all the things you can do with the Print & Pray Shop products & I realized how many of them are SO simple, but SO impactful! So today I’m showing you 6 ways to use Print & Pray products with just a printer & a roll of washi tape! :D You can inspire & witness to others & YOURSELF!
Use these cute pieces as home decor!
The Print & Pray Shop offers SO many cute pieces that would fit right in with whimsical, creative home decorating style! I like to take the 3×4 cards & clip them on to little photo stands like the star one I have pictured! You don’t even need the washi for this one, because they just clip right on & add style & scripture to your shelves. I thought this piece from Mandy Ford’s Sweet Like Honey set looked darling in the red section of my bookshelf! But you could also tape pieces anywhere in your home, or frame them for your wall.
Add them to your planner.
Are you a planner girl like me? If you are, that opens up a whole new realm of possibilities to use our printables! The sets that the artists design aren’t JUST decorative, they’re also often functional offering journaling spots & questions to get you thinking. It’s also great to clip one in that has a scripture passage on it to use as a memory verse! One of my very favorite pieces from Leah Schumacher’s Fun-Size set was this card with a crazy inspiring quote! I love that I can see it every time I open my planner. :)
Give yourself a morning pep talk.
Some mornings, I wake up & need a little morning burst of “go-get-’em!” What about you? Tape them to your mirror! This is one of my FAVORITE ways to use the printables from the shop because it sprinkles my home with positive little pep talks. I took some pieces of washi & folded them under to hide the tape attached to the back of the pieces. How perfect is this little reminder from my Good to Grow digital kit? When you look in the mirror in the morning to fix your hair or your makeup, you’ll see it & have a sweet reminder from the Bible. I have one on my bathroom mirror too because then I see it EVERY single time I wash my hands or brush my teeth!
Jazz up your happy mail!
I send a lot of letters & I always think it’s nice to use a little washi to tape a cute little card to the note for the person to remove & use as a little encouragement. There’s nothing better than mail that comes with a little extra “something.” Your friend could put it in their Bible for themself, use it as a bookmark, or even pass it on to someone else! #prayitforward These pieces from Shawna Clingerman’s All Around kits are totally made to be happy mail.
Create an inspiration board.
In my studio space, I always have a little inspiration board going to keep the space bright & happy! I love taping things to the wall that catch my eye & make my heart happy. For summer, I like creating bright, color palettes on my inspiration board with gorgeous pops of pizazz. The watermelons from the Seeds of the Gospel set by Taylor Rauschkolb seemed very summery to me & the message is perfect year-round!
Sprinkle kindness everywhere!
This one is a no-brainer. Leave a little love for a stranger! I like to pull some of the most inspiring messages from the sets & just tape them random places in public for someone to find. There is someone out there going through something tough or having an off day that needs a little pick-me-up. That person will find it & feel that God has spoken to them, and HE HAS! He’s placed these messages in your heart & in your hands to pass on to the world. I taped this piece to a public dryer in my apartment complex. I feel like a reverse thief– LEAVING joy everywhere instead of STEALING it. :)
I hope some of these SUPER EASY uses inspires you to make use of the printables in unconventional ways outside the margins of your Bible! Enjoy your day, friends!
