Happy Monday, friends! Today I’m sharing a new Print & Pray bible journaling process video with Elaine Davis’ set Quest for Clarity collage papers. Elaine’s collage papers are so fun and provide an instant pop of color and whimsy for your bible and art journaling pages!
Because these elements are larger in size (and I wanted to use several!) I opted to create a double page spread in my journaling bible. Elaine’s Buzzwords printables made a great title starter too. I chose to use the word renew in Romans 12:1-2.
Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. (NIV)
I created my page following the text of the verse, beginning in the top middle of the pages, with the “all to you” piece. From there I moved down to the left side and journaled a prayer for renewal which leads to transformation, on the right. Kinda like a triangle!
I added a grid washi tape to repeat the grid/map pattern in Elaine’s collage printables and added alpha stickers in coordinating colors. I used a shipping tag and some Revival Camp stickers to add some colorful, travel themed layers to page. Because transformation is a journey, right?!
A couple more finishing touches like a puffy cross sticker, art marks and a date stamp, and voila! A quick and colorful page reflecting on God’s beautiful Word and generous revelation of His will <3
