Mixed Media Bible Journaling Process Video | Only One You Session 4

Happy Monday! Today I have the pleasure of sharing another bible journaling process video with you- this week it’s session four from the Only One You devotional kit! I looked to the Print & Pray Shop for inspiration and loved using Tamra Arcilla’s “Tied Up with String” patterned paper bundle to set the tone for the look of today’s entry. In session four we’re directed to Esther 4:14 where Mordecai says to Esther,

“For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place. And who knows but you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”

How amazing that God uniquely positioned Esther for the purpose of saving His people.  And He has uniquely positioned you right where you are, too! In this session the devotional writer says,

“You’re here not by chance, but by God’s choosing…He has allowed you to be here at this time in history to fulfill His special purpose for this generation.”

As I added paint and stickers to my bible’s margin I thought back to what I heard author and speaker Christine Caine share recently and I paraphrased it in prayer form here on my page.

Lord, you have plucked me out of eternity and positioned me in time, having given me gifts and talents with the purpose of serving You where I am. I won’t have this time again. This is my time.

Friend, you too have been hand-crafted for His purpose. Your sphere of influence is unique to you. You were born for such a time as this!
