Debby, so happy to know you are a part of the Journaling Bible community. Your artwork in your Bible is fantastic! Hope that I get to visit with you again some day, I still remember your CKU class that I was honored to be an assistant for you in! Blessings!
His Word is everlasting and alive! I so enjoyed seeing and reading this post! God’s Word is beautiful to all whose eyes and hearts are open to it’s Truth and Power. I know that using creativitity and art in its pages is just another way that God’s glory is shown in and through us. I am excited to get a Bible and start filling it up as I glean from it at the same time! Lovely.
I have been following Shanna for a little while now but I so wanting to get started on this now in so many ways. Using letter stickers that I have a ton of and many more stickers that would work in this application. I am so inspired! Thanks Debby and thank you Shanna!
I love Debby and I love her work! So inspiring!!! Thanks and I need to get busy—bible journaling!
Thanks so much for this feature. I love it what a great idea and how blessed you are that The Lord is using your talents in this way. I am seeking a talent inspired job as well. God is so tender in spoiling us in such ways!
I’m sure this has been answered somewhere, but what kind of journaling Bible is that? I keep reading reviews on them and haven’t been able to pick out one to order. I don’t want a tiny print. I like the one column. Haven’t seen any versions beyond ESV. Is that what that is?
Love your technique Debby! I really enjoyed reading about your Bible journaling. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you, Debby, for your continued inspiration – both creatively and spiritually. I love your work. You are a blessing indeed! Thank you for a chance to win a journaling Bible. :D
So amazing! this has opened up a whole new world for me! I have been illustrating bible verses in my journal since 2006 but never thought of doing it in my bible! Then I fund all these posts on Instagram and decided to try it. I have done 3 pages now, but not using my scrapbooking supplies. Just painting on it. I will have to get out my supplies to see if I can do this- it’s so colorful and alive! God bless you all! patsy
I am very new to creative Bible journaling, and I am already in love! I have been scrapbooking since high school when I would cut out words from my Seventeen magazine advertisements to decorate my photo albums. Over the years, I have continued to scrapbook, but lately I have been drawn to journaling as well as always looking to spend more time in the Word. I am now a fan of both Shanna and Debby’s art and cannot wait to get started myself!
