This summer we’ve been going through a series on some favorite Psalms and this past week it was on Psalm 121. We’ve been gone a lot this summer and have missed most of the series, but it’s funny how the one week we’re around it was a message that I personally really needed. Here are some things I got from the message.
1) What do we learn from Psalm 121? Life is full of challenges
2) What’s a Biblical response to these challenges? “I’ll have problems, but God will keep me safe in Jesus Christ?”
3) Nothing is a challenge to God
4) Psalm 121 points to Jesus
5) He keeps us NOW & FOREVERMORE!!!
How do you react when life hands you challenges? I suffer from anxiety and definitely don’t handle challenges very well. Even this week, I totally forgot this message. It was so good to go back to it later in the week to review it and illustrate it in my Bible.
This is exactly why I do this in my Bible! It allows me to really soak up the message and find exactly what I needed to learn from the lesson and put it down for future reference. I know that I can go back to this message when anxiety hits me and challenges try to take me down.

Great lesson for all of us, Heather. I like the way that you used the tip-in and lettering on your page. What a great page to go back to as a reminder to keep that anxiety under control. Love it…..Linda E.
