Do you have a small group or community of believers you meet with? I find that meeting with a group of people helps to make us stronger for when we’re out in the world doing our jobs or hanging with our neighbors or even on social media hangouts. It became even more clear to me the importance of community this last Sunday at my church.
We live in such an independent driven world but we need community. We can’t do life on our own. We aren’t meant to be alone. Community makes us stronger, not only in our relationship with God but in our confidence in the gospel. The main point I got out of the message was that we need to gather together in order to make disciples when we scatter.
I instantly thought of the two bird sets in the Illustrated Faith Soar 4×6 Stamp Set by Tevy. The one with the birds sitting on a wire gather together and the other one with them flying made me think of them scattering. I also knew I had to use the “GO & make disciples” stamp from the Illustrated Faith GO! Devotional Kit featuring Jess Robyn. I filled in the rest with assorted stamps and stickers and highlighted the passage from the message.
I think this might be the first time I didn’t use paint and had fun just stamping the whole page. Natalie has inspired me with her clean and simple pages. It was lots of fun playing with different stamping techniques.
