Hi everyone! I hope that you are doing well today, and if not I hope that you can give it to God and take some inspiration from this post. When I’m feeling a little run down from the everyday, I try to remember this verse from Psalm 46:5 “God Is Within Her, She Will Not Fail.” With God in the midst of us, we shall not be moved. He strengthens us and helps us during difficult times. I decided to create this entry for my 16 year old daughter who, is going through hardships in her life, in the midst of her junior year in high school and peer pressure, is looking at diving deeper into ministry. I couldn’t be more proud of her, and created this entry to encourage her.
This page started out by painting a chevron design onto the left column of my page.
Next, I added stamps and sprinkled spray mist across the page.
Next, I added some journaling, distress paint, a photo of my daughter and some washi tape. Some of the spray mist smeared a little bit, but that’s okay. I see it as God’s way of telling me to let go of perfections. Which is sometimes hard for me to do.
I finished my page by adding this cute fabric paper clip that I made recently at one of Shanna’s workshops. I need to make more of these soon, because they just add the perfect touch of cuteness to my page, and I love that I can easily find my entry in my bible when I use a paper clip. I hope you enjoyed my post today, and am inspired to create your own!
