I recently finished a Bible & moved on to a new one– always a joy AND a struggle! We grow so attached to our Bibles as we work in them. They’re so full of heart, emotion, prayer, tears, & joy that it’s hard to let go. I thought today I would show you a little round-up, Hall of Fame style, of some of my favorite pages from this Bible. It was SO hard to narrow down, but I picked 8 of my most emotion-filled entries!
Award: Fastest Time
This page was done in about 10 minutes. My fastest entry to date! But despite the fact that I created it so quickly, it has a LOT of feels packed into it! I jotted down some favorite lyrics from an old hymn we used to sing in my childhood church!
Award: Color Palette MVP
You have to admit that the colors in this entry are stellar! This palette just really packs a punch for me! Whenever I look at this page, my heart dances around in my chest looking at the beautiful colors that inspired it!
Award: Best Disaster Comeback
We all have those pages that turn out to be a disaster & we think they can’t be saved! This entry originally had a HUGE bright blue spot of color mist that bled through from the other side. I added about 5 layers of white paint, but the color mist reactivated & dyed by white paint blue! After more white, some pink paint, & some card stock, I was able to save the day & create this beautifully sentimental entry praying over my unborn niece! #forthewin
Award: Best Use of Leftover Alphas
Who doesn’t love a good stash-buster page!? I had the most fun using a bunch of Zs from all sorts of alpha sets for this page! It really made good use of little product bits I might not have ever used!
Award: Crowd Favorite
This page, We Can All Be a Light in the Dark, was one of my most “liked” pages on Instagram! It’s so fun to see what inspires others vs. the pages that are the most meaningful to us!
Award: Biggest Tear-Jerker
I created this page with tears falling down my face. This week in my life was a wreck & I was a wreck. It means so much to me because I was able to work out so many emotions in the pages of this Book. Bible journaling when we’re sad isn’t always easy. It’s fun to create when you’re happy! But forcing yourself to use art as a coping mechanism is difficult. I wasn’t feeling creative that week, but I prayed & God brought me through! There are definitely some tears in the fibers of this page. <3
Award: Most Eco-Friendly
Using untraditional products in my paper crafts is a huge passion of mine! This page was a few weeks in the making & the end result makes me smile! Plus I love the thought of creating something from items that I would have just thrown away. :)
Award: Judge’s Choice
As the “judge” of this fun little awards ceremony, I thought I would choose my favorite page overall. This 2-page spread takes the cake. It taught me so much & I was so deep into the Word that it took me awhile to resurface. My heart wants to burst looking at these because I look back & remember how submerged I was in His teachings!
I encourage you to go through your Bible & share some of your “Hall of Fame” pages! It’s fun & a great way to reflect on where the Lord has led you in various seasons of your life!

Oh my goodness your awards are so funny! This was so enjoyable to read through and see your beautiful entries! <3
Elaine, You are so creative!
Your award names are too cute!
So cute! The zzzzz’s are my favorite. Thanks for sharing. I will definitely do this the next time I go into a new Bible. The transition took me way to long last time–this feels like needed closure.
