Bible Journaling Process Video | This Is Love Devotional Kit

You are loved, friend! You are wanted! Our amazing heavenly Father loves you! Today I’m sharing my first entry from the This Is Love devotional kit. Let’s jump in to John 3:16 together. Say it with me!

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have eternal life.” (NIV)

Can I just interject here how much I love bible journaling? I set aside thirty minutes to simply sit and meditate on this wonderful and sacrificial expression of love. Using the beautiful kit, some paint and washi I lingered right here. And you know what happened as I went about the rest of my day? It made me look at the people around me differently. The family in the car next to me, the cashier at the grocery store, my neighbor placing his recycling on the curb- they are all so loved by God. So much so that He gave His one and only Son for them-and you!

In today’s process video I was totally inspired by all of the hexies included in the devotional kit- in the stamp set, the die cut pieces and especially on the devotional card. I may have hesitated for a moment, but in the end did cut it up to use as my title element.

I would love to encourage you to set aside just fifteen minutes to grab your bible, a pen and some journaling supplies (you won’t need #allthethings), maybe put on some worship music in the background and see what He whispers to you during your time in His word.  As you soak in God’s great love for you how will that influence the way you see others and yourself?
