Hey there! If you are new around here, WELCOME … I hope you make this your bible journaling home and find this to be a place of inspiration and encouragement. If you are a vet, welcome back!!! I missed you! xox
I wanted to once again invite you to join us for Revival Camp (did I mention it’s 100% free?).. As I wrap personally working through this amazing workshop, I am amazed at His timing. As always, it’s perfect. We are in need of a little love spark and I am hoping that Revival Camp places a little seed in our hearts that Jesus grows and grows while you learn new ways to love without boundaries! To allow LOVE to shine in all aspects of our lives and to be a mirror reflecting God’s love in the areas in our life we didn’t believe possible before.
I wanted to share four of my entries from the workshop, tell me if you sense a theme?
Do you sense a theme? Yes, friends! LOVE!!!!! A little tune comes to mind as I type this… what does the world need now, but love sweet love! It’s true, we all need to show each other a little more love, why? Because we were first loved! This isn’t coming from a point of finger pointing or blaming but rather from the fact that each of us has a little margin in our lives, in our hearts to SHARE MORE LOVE!
Tonya Hamilton wrote the amazing devotionals that acoompany this free workshop and I wanted to share a little peek at the amazing heart behind this sweet friend of mine!
Love Loud
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you are also to love one another.
John 13:34 ESV
We are an encouraging community. We discover ways to uplift each other, despite miles and large bodies of water which may separate us. While I haven’t met many of you face to face, I have received your love. You’ve communicated this through comments, messages, and posts of your own. You get me. And I get you.
Yet, we are crazy different. Aside from the whole geography issue, we are from diverse cultures, various upbringings, and a wide variety of passions. But none of that stops us from being kind and inspiring. We are loving like Jesus.
We peer past the pretty posts on social media and read between the lines. Not because of our great discernment skills, but because “love is from God” (1 John 4:7), and the One who loves first, teaches us. He guides us down dirt roads of the Bible and demonstrates love.
When Jesus observed a short statured man in a tree, public opinion didn’t stop Him from talking with this tax collector (Luke 19:1-10). When God directed Samuel to anoint a new king for Israel, a resume entry of “lowly shepherd” didn’t prevent Him from seeing the young boy’s heart (1 Samuel 16:1-13). And when the Lord thought of you and me, He could not be persuaded down from the cross.
As we interact in and out of cozy, faith-rich circles, let’s show this world love without boundaries or limits. Just like rain falls on any surface without discrimination, soak those around you with the kindness. All because He first loved.
So what do you say? Are you willing to raise your hand and say
YES to this journey of LOVING without boundaries?
Join us for Revival Camp to dig a little deeper!
