We’re deep into this season of gratitude & thankfulness, friends. But I’m still digging further, reaching higher, praising all the more. I say it every year & I mean it — I. Love. Gratitude. It’s such a good, heart-changing season for us. Whether it’s celebrated traditionally in November or as a reboot in May…. it’s so good, so needed.
Today I’m sharing my page process for the gratitude prompt CELEBRATION.
Nestled right in the middle of the Bible [the best place to be, am I right?!], Psalms 148:1 tells us this —
Hallelujah!
Praise the Lord from the heavens;
praise him in the heights.
Simple. Perfect. Enough. So much goodness. I get teary eyed every time I think of praising Jesus IN PERSON someday in Heaven. I can’t wait for that day, but for now my celebration of praise is located right here, in the sticks of Georgia with a backyard full of children and free-loading hens ;)
I started by using the ENTIRE package of adorable leaf ephemera pieces included in the November Grace & Gratitude kit. They are soooo cute & I truly just couldn’t help myself. A whole Bible page of leaves…. yes, please! I also added some paint shmears [because #ipaintinmybible] and a fun little tab section at the top with a gift tag & two prompt stickers included in the kit.
I also gained a tiny little helper along the way ;)
I left a good, large section in my oversized margin [!!!] because I knew I would want to journal + pray a lot. I have a lotta words…. and God’s okay with that ;) I poured out a celebration of praise from my heart — even in a time of hurt & hard, I want to celebrate His goodness & His faithfulness.
This season is so good for doing just that, friends.
