Happy are the sad?  Seems like a contradiction, doesn’t it?  But this is what Jesus teaches in the Sermon on the Mount when he says, “Blessed are those who mourn.” This redefinition of “blessed” by Jesus is meant to puzzle us enough to reconsider what it means to grieve.
