“Sitting down to Thanksgiving dinner seems compulsory to most families. It’s more of a ‘thing you just always do’ than a true tradition of fellowship. But biblically, we are called to gather with others & break bread together in camaraderie, communion, & discipleship! Each year at our Thanksgiving meal, I really try to make it a true fellowship experience by striking up conversations & testimony of God’s provision & reminding my family of the ‘WHY’ behind it. Fellowship & gratitude should be more than mundane habits. We should recognize that God has given us a soul for fellowship & go out of our way to make it the centerpiece! “ -Elaine Davis
