Typically I really like to get pretty messy and colorful in my Journaling Bible, but I thought I would take a different approach on my entry for today. I wanted to highlight John 14:27, which has been one of my favorite verses for a long time. “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.”
Peace makes me think of calm, and I wanted to portray that feeling in my Journaling entry. I focused on the word Peace, using the Typed Hey Sugar Sugar Alpha, and then added in cool colors, Blue and Gray. I also kept my embellishing to a minimum, by adding just a few stickers and some stamping.
With all that goes on around us and our busy schedules, it’s usually hard to find any kind of peace. I wanted to have a focus in my Bible, that just reminds me that no matter the chaos that happens around me every day, I have the ultimate peace in Jesus!
