Compassion Cure Devotional (Digital Download)

Hey friends! Eliza here. I have been pondering throughout 2021 and asking God, “What am I learning this season?” In my pondering, I have also been asking God to shower down His compassion, courage, peace, and love on us. We are living in a world that is so full of hatred and discord that it’s heartbreaking to see there is no peace. As an empath, I tend to feel everything around me and I have noticed that these characteristics are not pivotal anymore. God is calling us to be more like Him in our daily walk. We are to be kind and friendly. He wants to be able to provide us with the confidence that we are longing for to pursue all of our hopes and dreams. In addition, He wants to be able to give us the peace that surpasses all of our understanding if we focus on His word and not the world. In short, He commands us to show love, which I am not seeing being passed around like confetti these days. I want to be able to shed some light on how to build and restore our relationships, with not only others and ourselves, but with Christ. We must learn how to possess and carry out God’s words as He is preparing us for what is to come in 2022. Keep this question in mind as you read through this devotional: “What lesson is God teaching me this season?”
