Print & Pray Crepe Paper Embellishments

Guys. Seriously. I have a tutorial for you that is going to be your new favorite thing to make! These crepe paper pinwheel embellishments are seriously so easy! They’re a fun, creative way to incorporate your extra Print & Pray pieces embellishments in your Bible, encouragement cards for friends, journals, or whatever your little heart desires. :)

To make these beauties, check out this quick, simple tutorial HERE. These don’t have to be exact– the messy creative look is so inspiring & makes a great base to layer your paper pieces on to! Once you have your crepe paper pinwheel created, time to embellish it ! :D

Just take some paper piece & start layering. I usually start by choosing one main piece for a focal point & work off of that using similar colors.

There are a bunch of different bits & bobs you can use to embellish your pinwheels such as printable elements, wordfetti, thread, wood veneer pieces, sequins, ribbon bits, glitter, confetti, & more. I used Aleene’s tacky craft glue to adhere my pieces because it gave me a bit of time to move it around slightly before it dried. The crepe paper also gave me a great porous surface for things to stick to. Plus it dries clear!

The way I approached this project is knowing that I wanted each of my pinwheels to be a mini work of art all by itself with a little message of its own. That way I could just grab one & stick it in my Bible when the scripture was right. The wordfetti pieces that come in many of the printables are perfect for this! And on all of the ones I created here, I used Shawna Clingerman’s digital set All Around from the Print & Pray Shop!

With these gorgeous little masterpieces, you don’t need an elaborate Bible page. You can pop one of these in the margin, write a prayer, & thank your Savior for His guidance!
