Swatch This!

God loves to create – He loves to make something out of seemingly nothing! He creates order in the midst of chaos and breathes life into what was once dead. From seemingly nothingness He creates beauty. Often, humans focus so intently on the “end-product,” that we miss the beauty found in the process. We get bogged down before we even start. This swatch-making set is meant to help you make that first mark, to get involved in the process of paying attention, and use anything and everything around you as inspiration. “Swatch This” is a play on words, as I often imagine the Lord saying “Watch This” to me as He creates something. And often when I see the things that He is doing, it inspires me to “Swatch It.” Noticing colors and patterns is a great way to pay attention to what God is creating, both in your own life, and in the world around you. Using color in swatches also helps me pay attention to emotions, feelings and prayers.
