Hello lovelies! Did you know that you were created to shine? Yeah, you probably did. But in case you haven’t heard those words in a while or you’re feeling less than stellar – this verse can give you a little reminder.
The inspiration for this entry in my Praise Book is this star-cluster necklace from DaySpring.com. It was a little gift I bought for myself and there are a couple things I love about it – besides the design.
First, it has ISAIAH 40:26 engraved on the back – so sweet right? Second, it comes with a little card in the box with that verse displayed out on a background of stars. I just knew that I wanted to do something to commemorate this precious piece.
And wouldn’t you know it – the GO! die cut set has this starry circle and once I saw it I knew my color scheme was set! So with paints and paint cards – I set forth to spread and smudge my two colors onto the page. As I hand wrote the entire verse out I reflected on what all these words meant. How special we each are to He who calls us by name. Knowing that He sees me among millions makes me want to shine even brighter. I don’t want to waste the light he’s put in me so I will continue to lift up my eyes to the heavens and shine like all those stars!

This verse resonates for me – its my prayer for my 10 year old daughter and I have a spread in my faith journal for her she loves to come and read it when she’s struggliing with things .
