Hi friends!
Today we are going on a little detour from watching me put a page together because sometimes it’s nice to take the scenic route. I thought it would be good to take things back to the start and talk about how & where you can illustrate your faith. Sometimes it can be overwhelming to know if working in a bible is better than working in a journal. How do you know what you’ll enjoy or what you will engage in more often?
These are all questions I asked myself when I got started and it took some trials to determine where I prefer to journal. What is awesome is that there isn’t a rule that says you can only praise Him in one place – or that you have to have multiple places! You get to choose the best and most accessible way for you – as long as you’re worshiping!
Below are 6 different ways you can get started or expand your current art spaces! I also have a video that walks through all of these options in more detail!
1: Pocket/Scrapbook Album
2: Praise Book
3: Devotional Kit
4: Journaling notebook
5: Faith Planner
6: In the Bible
Let’s take a closer look at the ways we can illustrate our faith!
I sure hope you’ve been sparked to try a new medium or validated that how you’re doing your thang today is a-ok! I just want to emphasize that you can use anything you have on hand and you do not NEED all of the options. God doesn’t care what journal you illustrate in as long as you show up!
I hope you enjoy your day!
